Clear and Flexible SIM-Only Plans

A SIM-only plan is a mobile plan where Cmobile provides you a SIM (either physical or eSIM) on a simple monthly plan and you bring your own mobile phone or device. These plans do not have a lock-in contract or costly handset repayments.

Cmobile is a 100% Australian owned and operated company. Our head office is based in Gosford NSW and all our staff are based here in Australia to assist  you. We do not operate any overseas call centres or use complex automated call systems.

Yes! Cmobile plans are month to month, meaning you are not locked into a fixed term like 12 or 24 months. With Cmobile, you can leave anytime with no penalty. Our plans continue to roll month to month so you can have peace of mind if your circumstances change, you can move plans up or down or cancel your service.

Cmobile offers a choice of plans on different mobile networks to give you ultimate choice and flexibility.

C Blue plans operate on the Telstra Wholesale mobile network. These plans are our premium plans with superior coverage and added features like 5G, databanking, eSIM, international roaming packs and international calling options.

C Red plans operate on the Vodafone mobile network which was recently upgraded to provide double the mobile coverage. These plans are our budget option offering reliable service and great value for money.

Yes! You can bring your current phone number from any Australian mobile service provider to Cmobile. It’s very easy to transfer your number to Cmobile and can take just minutes. At the time of activating your Cmobile SIM, we will initiate the transfer and advise your current mobile provider. You don’t even have to tell them!

On C Blue plans there is a feature called databanking. This allows any unused data to roll over into your databank so you can activate it if you use all you plan data in a particular month.

On C Red plans there is no data roll-over feature currently, so any data that is not used each month is lost.

Once  you receive your physical Cmobile SIM, you can activate it in a few different ways.

1. Go to our website, Cmobile.com.au and Click on Activate in the top right corner of the screen. Enter some information and your SIM activation will begin.
2. Email us at [email protected] and advise us you wish to activate and we’ll get in contact with you.
3. Call us on 1300 545 000 during office hours and we’ll activate it for you.

The quickest way to get activated with Cmobile is with an eSIM. If your phone is eSIM capable you can request an eSIM and we’ll email you a QR code to activate the SIM directly to your phone or tablet.

Most Cmobile plans have an included amount of data each month. Cmobile will alert you via SMS when you’ve reached 50%, 85% and 100% of your included data. If you run out of data, what happens next depends on what plan you are on.

On C Blue plans, if you exceed your monthly included data, you will then use data from your databank if your plan has this feature. If not, or if your databank is empty, you will be charged for excess data use. The standard charge for excess data on C Blue plans is $10 per 2GB block. Refer to your plan Critical Information Summary (CIS) for charges. If you want to avoid excess data charges, please contact our Support team and we can stop your data after 100% to avoid excess data blocks being added.

On C Red plans, if you exceed your monthly included data, then excess data charges will apply. These are typically charged at a rate of 1c per 1MB block.

Cmobile recommends installing a data monitoring app on your mobile phone or tablet to alert you of your data usage in real time. Examples include DataMan or My Data Manager. Most phones also have tools to alert you of your data usage so it’s best to check in your settings to activate these.
